Banish Lesser Elemental allows the caster to forcibly sever the bond between a lesser elemental and the material world. By exerting focused spiritual authority, the caster compels the elemental to return to its native plane.
The caster must declare the type of elemental being targeted when casting the spell, such as Fire, Air, Water, or Earth. The spell level is 30 for the chosen elemental type. If cast against a different elemental type, the spell automatically fails with no effect.
On a successful casting, the targeted lesser elemental is immediately banished and cannot return to the material plane for a time determined by the rules governing summoned or bound entities. The banishment leaves no physical residue, though environmental effects caused by the elemental may remain.
Banish Lesser Elemental affects only lesser elementals. Greater, elder, or uniquely bound elementals are unaffected. The spell has no effect on mundane creatures, constructs, or non-elemental spirits.
Strong wards, bindings, or anchor effects may resist or prevent banishment at the GM’s discretion.
