Call lesser Elemental

Description

Call Lesser Elemental allows the caster to summon a lesser elemental spirit of a single chosen element. The spell may only use one element at a time, which must be declared at casting. The caster must possess at least 25 points in that element to successfully perform the summoning.

Once summoned, the lesser elemental does not act independently in combat or the physical world. Instead, it remains bound to the caster, assisting them in shaping magic aligned with its element. While the elemental is bound, the caster gains a +10 bonus to their chance of successfully casting spells of the same element as the summoned elemental.

The elemental manifests as a subtle presence or faint physical sign appropriate to its nature, such as flickering warmth for fire, a stirring breeze for air, or a faint tremor for earth.

A caster may only maintain one lesser elemental per element at any given time. Calling another lesser elemental of the same element immediately dismisses the existing one.

Limitations

The summoned elemental provides assistance only for spellcasting and does not perform tasks, attack, or defend. If the spell ends, the elemental is immediately dismissed.

The elemental’s aid applies only to spells of its specific element. Loss of concentration, disruption of the spell, or banishment effects will immediately sever the bond.
