Half-Giants are the results of a cross between a true giant and a human. When born a half-giant baby appears identical to a normal human child. Their growth rate, however, is much higher than the average of even the tallest humans. When half-giants reach adulthood they stand upto 3 Metres in height. They are naturally very strong and very fit. Due to these natural characteristics, half-giants make excellent archers and infantry. Half-giant warriors are used as front-line assault troops in many countries. Half-giant archers are notorious due to the damage half-giant bows can inflict. There are also some half-giants who can use troll bows to even more devastating effect. Half-giants tend to live in human society; this is because their lack of height and strength amongst true giants places them at a distinct disadvantage. In human society, their extra height and strength can be a massive advantage. Their extra height also allows them to see greater distances (+10 Observation bonus for long-distance spotting). However, opponents gain a +10% bonus to spot a Half-giant and an additional 1% for every 10cms in height above 3 metres in height.

High Endurance: This is the half-giant’s natural fatigue bonus due to its giant lineage. Greater Life-force: This is the half-giant’s natural LF bonus due to their bloodline being partially giant. Shock Troop Reputation: This is the natural Fear Factor (FF) of Half-giant combat troops. This ability only affects opponents of Medium (M) size and below. Large (L) or greater sizes are unaffected. This ability does not work on any undead.
