Tralli is a rugged and often contested land, shaped by both its harsh geography and its position between larger, more powerful neighbours. Over centuries, Tralli’s people have forged a strong regional identity rooted in resilience, self-reliance, and adaptation to an unforgiving landscape.
As the third most northern country on Cerus, Tralli is dominated by mountain ranges and deep valleys that divide the land into naturally fortified regions. Narrow passes, high plateaus, and hidden routes define travel and warfare alike, giving local forces a defensive advantage against invading armies.
To the north lies the Kingdom of Pamphilos, whose warmer climate and cultural influence contrast sharply with Tralli’s austere terrain. To the south is the Empire of Musto, a powerful imperial state whose ambitions have repeatedly brought conflict to Tralli’s borders.
Caught between these greater powers, Tralli has long served as both buffer and battleground. Its people are renowned as skilled mountaineers, scouts, and defenders, and many Trallian mercenaries are sought after for their endurance and intimate knowledge of difficult terrain. Despite external pressures, Tralli endures as a land defined by strength, tradition, and an unyielding bond to its mountains.
