Description

The Oceans Embrace is a hardened, sea-going vessel built for endurance rather than elegance. She is equally at home upon the open waters of the Bay of Elves as she is navigating the deep, winding rivers that cut through Caplo and beyond. Where other ships are built for either ocean swells or inland passage, the Oceans Embrace was designed to master both.

She is not the largest ship in the fleet — but she is among the most reliable.

Design and Construction

The hull of the Oceans Embrace is reinforced oak, banded with dark iron strapping along the keel and ribs, giving her the strength to withstand heavy seas and the occasional river shoal. Her draft is moderate — deep enough for ocean stability, yet shallow enough to navigate major inland waterways without grounding.

Her prow curves forward in a proud but practical arc, carved with a subtle wave motif rather than a grandiose figurehead. Captain Gantis has little interest in ornament that does not serve purpose.
