Description

The Island of Sedar lies approximately twenty miles off the western coast of Caplo, rising from the sea as a place of quiet authority and ancient legacy. Designated a royal holding, the island is home to a single settlement, the City of Sedar, the only habitation upon its shores.

Beyond the city walls, the land remains largely untouched. Rolling meadows and sparse woodland are thick with wild deer, whose herds roam freely across the island’s interior. For generations, Sedar has served as a royal retreat, a sanctuary removed from the burdens of court and crown, where rulers may hunt, reflect, and rule in seclusion.

Sedar holds profound historical significance. It was the first land settled by the royal line before the founding of Caplo itself. From this island stronghold, the dynasty established its power, later crossing to the mainland to build the kingdom that would bear their name. As such, Sedar is not merely a retreat, but the cradle of the Caplon crown and the birthplace of its sovereignty.
