Lore Magic is the understanding of magical theory, spell history, and the traditions of arcane practice. It allows a character to recognize spells, magical symbols, and lingering effects.

This skill is useful for identifying enchantments, understanding how magic was shaped or altered, and recalling the origins of specific schools or techniques. It does not grant the ability to cast spells, only to understand them.

Lore Magic is often academic in nature, blending theory with recorded experimentation. Magical anomalies, forbidden spells, and lost arts may only be partially understood even by experts.
